About The Breed
Mini Heelers — also known as Miniature Australian Cattle Dogs — are small in size but big in heart. They’re loyal, intelligent, and full of personality, bred to be both hard workers and devoted companions. These dogs are alert, courageous, and always ready for adventure, whether that’s helping with chores or curling up at your feet after a long day. Their compact size makes them great for families, farms, or folks who love an active, outdoor lifestyle but want a smaller version of the traditional heeler.
Personal Note
I won't lie when I say that I wasn't excited about the first heeler that my husband brought into the home... I just didn't think she was going to be a very good pet - they are working dogs after all. Well, I was wrong - I stole her (Blue, pictured to the left/above) from him and she's been my loyal shadow ever since. Then I added Squidgy (he's got quite the special story) and then Mocha.... and well the rest is history. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to raise these amazing little companions because you don't know it yet, but you need one too!
What We Offer
At Grit 'n' Grace Ranch, our heelers are raised as part of the family — handled daily, socialized with kids and livestock, and given plenty of room to play and explore. We focus on breeding for health, temperament, and producing puppies that thrive in both working and companion homes.

Pricing & Contracts
Our Mini Heeler puppies typically range from $1,000–$3,500, depending on color, markings, and lineage. Every puppy could be different so please reach out. A non-refundable deposit of $250 holds your puppy until pickup.
All puppies are sold with a buyer contract that covers:

We also offer delivery and transport options within the U.S. for an additional fee and can help coordinate safe, reliable travel for your new family member.
