At Grit 'n' Grace Ranch, we care deeply about where our puppies go and the kind of lives they’ll have. Each puppy is raised with love, time, and intention — and we want to make sure they’re matched with families who value them the same way.

Puppy Contract
Every puppy from Grit 'n' Grace Ranch is sent home with a detailed purchase contract designed to protect both the buyer and the puppy. Our goal is to ensure each pup is set up for a lifetime of love, health, and proper care.
Our contract includes a health guarantee, spay/neuter agreement (unless breeding rights are approved), and guidelines for proper care and training. It also outlines our commitment to you — and what we ask in return to make sure your new heeler has the best start possible.
We’re here for support long after you take your puppy home. Buying from us means becoming part of the Grit 'n' Grace family, and we take that seriously.
Health and Genetic Testing
Each of our breeding dogs is carefully chosen for strong genetics, sound structure, and a steady temperament — the foundation of every great companion.
We actively screen for common conditions found in Australian Cattle Dogs, including eye, joint, and neurological concerns, and we keep all of our dogs up to date on veterinary care, vaccinations, and regular health checks.
Our goal is simple: to raise healthy, well-balanced Mini Heelers that are built to live long, happy, and active lives. Every puppy leaves our ranch vet-checked, socialized, and ready to thrive with their new family.
Deposits, Pickup & Payment
We do our best to make the puppy process simple and stress-free — for you and for us.
Deposits:
A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price and hold your chosen puppy until pickup day. If something unexpected comes up, your deposit can be transferred to a future litter (at our discretion).
Payment:
Final payment is due at or before pickup. We currently accept cash, Venmo, or wire transfers for the remaining balance. Puppies must be paid for in full before leaving the ranch.
Pickup & Transport:
We love meeting new families in person! Puppies can be picked up at the ranch once they are a mininmum of 8 weeks old and have passed their vet check.
We also offer ground transport, flight nanny services, or pet cargo options within the U.S. for an additional fee — we’ll help coordinate safe, comfortable travel for your new companion.
Our goal is for every handoff to be smooth, personal, and full of excitement — the start of a lifelong bond between you and your new heeler.
